Farm Share Sizes and Fees

 

Our goal is to provide fresh, local, organic produce staples at a fair price. While other CSAs may offer more elaborate varieties, these types of diverse crops are more labor-intensive to cultivate and harvest, and would necessitate a significant rise in our membership fee. 

 

At Porter Farms, we strive to provide a balance between variety and cost, and feel that our CSA represents an excellent value for the quantity and variety our members enjoy. We keep our program simple so that the entire community has access to local, nutritious food.

 

Share Sizes

 

LARGE Share

The Large Share is designed for those who enjoy cooking from scratch and love vegetables. Our Large Share is appropriate for a family of 4 - 6 with an appetite for a variety of produce. Each week Large Share members receive approximately 8-10 produce items, occasionally more or less, depending on our harvest. The Large Share represents the most bang for your buck!

SMALL Share

​

Our Small Share is designed for individual vegetarians, couples, and small families. Small Share members receive approximately 6 - 8 produce items, occasionally more or less. Small Shares will receive less produce than Full Shares, but over the entire season, will receive most or all of the harvested items, except in the event of crop failure. To accommodate the size and variety of produce, selections may be divided between weeks at our discretion.

Full Share

• Pick-Up Option:  xx per season if you pick up your produce at the farm or from sites in the Buffalo area.

• Delivery Option: xx per season for delivery to Rochester area sites or participating employers.

Small Share

• Pick-Up Option:  xx per season if you pick up your produce at the farm or from sites in the Buffalo area.

• Delivery Option:  xx per season for delivery to Rochester area sites or participating employers.
